Professional Supervision
I provide professional supervision for counsellors and other health and community service professionals, offering a supportive, practical and reflective space to explore client work, professional challenges, ethical practice and ongoing development.
With over 25 years’ experience across mental health, community services, NGOs, leadership and management, the NDIS sector and private practice, I bring a broad understanding of both frontline practice and the wider systems professionals work within. My background includes counselling, support coordination, service management, leadership, mentoring, workplace training and facilitating workshops, alongside running my own private practice.
My approach to supervision is integrative, collaborative and tailored to the individual needs of each supervisee. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, sessions may focus on client work and case formulation, ethical or professional dilemmas, boundaries, managing complex situations, professional confidence and development, private practice, NDIS work, leadership challenges, or maintaining wellbeing and preventing burnout.
I believe good supervision should provide a space where you can think openly, reflect honestly and feel supported while also being appropriately challenged to develop your skills and confidence. My aim is to meet you where you are in your professional journey and provide supervision that is relevant, practical and meaningful to your work.
Supervision is available for counsellors, students and graduates, healthcare and community service professionals, support coordinators, support workers, managers and other helping professionals.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Capalaba or via telehealth Australia-wide.
Choosing a therapist
I know how hard it is to feel stuck, and how scary it can be to wonder if you'll ever break free of the cycle. You want to change something, and yet it feels impossible. Maybe you're finally willing to take a risk and do something different, but you're not sure how to go about it. If you're ready to develop more meaning and freedom in your life, to feel happier and more satisfied, or just need that extra support to continue and find your right path you've come to the right place.
Cariad Health provides a confidential counselling service using evidence-based practice with person-centred and mindfulness-based therapies, offering insight and values for individuals and couples.
It is important you find the right fit in a therapist, and one size does not fit all. You should feel a warmth, a welcoming attitude and an earnest desire to see things from your perspective to help you achieve your goals.
It is important to feel comfortable with your counsellor, it would be a privilege if you chose Cariad Health. If not, I wish you the very best in your journey.
